Treadwell Farms and Living Vitalitea Kombucha Collaborate on a Florida Sunset – Hemp Kombucha That Is
UMATILLA, Fla. (October 27, 2022) – Treadwell Farms, a Florida family hemp company, and Living Vitalitea Kombucha have come together to launch a kombucha tea brewed to incorporate Fresh From Florida hemp leaves from Treadwell Farms. The first made from and in the state, Florida Sunset Organic Hemp Kombucha ($45 for a 12-pack) is inspired by the smells and tastes that embody the terpene-rich hemp.
“We wanted to capture the essence of this beautiful, magical plant,” said Daniel Koenigkann, owner and brewer of Living Vitalitea. “Treadwell Farms was able to offer us whole plant material, which includes the leaves, stems, as well as the flower. With this, we created a fullbodied, full flavor kombucha elixir that contains all of the terpenes and flavonoids of the hemp plant with notes of pine, strawberry, and even guava. We intentionally left out the CBD and THC because they are simply not water-soluble, and mostly anyone using CBD in water-based drinks are using chemicalized processes that we simply avoid.”
